TEAM GRENADA SET FOR GLASGOW 2026 OPENING CEREMONY 🇬🇩
Grenada’s swimming stars Tilly Collymore and Zachary Gresham have been selected as King’s Baton Bearer and Flag Bearer, respectively, for the Opening Ceremony of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
The ceremony takes place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the iconic OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, where athletes from 74 Commonwealth nations and territories will proudly march in the traditional Parade of Nations, officially opening the XXIII Commonwealth Games. The event will welcome more than 3,000 athletes competing across 11 sports over the next 11 days.
As the Grenadian flag is carried into the arena, Tilly Collymore and Zachary Gresham will proudly represent the Spice Isle before a global audience, symbolising the dedication, excellence, and unity of Team Grenada.
The Glasgow 2026 Opening Ceremony promises to be a spectacular celebration of sport, culture, music, and the enduring spirit of the Commonwealth, marking the beginning of what is expected to be an exciting and memorable Games.
